Getting off to a great start is important in anything you do. This year is off to a great start if I may say so. With a new year comes an opportunity to look forward to some new things, but also to glance in the rear view at what will be left behind.
I recently read an article that was suggested on my Google feed (thanks algorithm!) about a 52 week challenge to become a better photographer. The challenge… Each week there will be a photography assignment that must be completed that week. It must be done by the participant and ultimately will help push your boundaries. Naturally, I signed up and was off to begin this new journey and challenge.
While I won’t feature all of the challenges here, I will definitely highlight some from time to time. The week 1 challenge is a self portrait. The selfie has definitely not been something I’m a big fan of. However, in an effort to think differently, I took a few shots and was actually pleased.
I went with photo #2 for my submission. It seemed to be the one with a little more personality and actually took the longest to do. What do you think? Which would you have selected and why? Feel free to leave your comments below.
